First lesson back.

After going over exam AS results we discussed our coursework for A2, after our discussion we were given an extract from Media Magazine from September 2011 called In Defence of Media. The article is written by Nick Potamitis, and the writer tells us of his life and how he has always been a 'geek' when concerning media, the article mentions all of his failed attempts of creating media pieces. The article made me realise that now in 2011 we have more opportunities to do what we want with media and like the article says "Media students need to get their geek on. I agree with the actor Simon Pegg, who argues that 'geek' has been 'reclaimed' in recent years. It used to be an insult, now it just means you're into your stuff."
